The Toowoomba weekly prayer & meditation services are based on the programmes and format of those held at the Bahá'í House of Worship in Sydney and were established in February 1997 continuing without a break since then. The aim is to provide a regular devotional programme for the local Bahá'í community as well as for the general public, giving people an opportunity for a structured spiritual input into their lives in a meditative atmosphere without the rituals and sermons associated with more traditional approaches.
