Description:	As the only Asian Pacific Islander community-based, non-profit fund of its kind in Southern California, the Asian Pacific Community Fund was created to fulfill a need for a unified effort to encourage philanthropy to benefit the rapidly growing population of Asian Pacific Islanders in Los Angeles County. APCF generates funds primarily through charitable workplace giving programs for its 29 Affiliate Agencies, which provide culturally sensitive and linguistically appropriate programs and services.
