The Procedural Aspects of International Law Institute (PAIL Institute) is a nonprofit organization devoted to furthering the observance of international law through research, consulting, and publishing monographs and other educational materials. Established in 1965 by academic lawyers, governmental officials, and private practitioners, the Institute's activities include work in areas as diverse as international claims settlements, a draft convention on terrorism, the concept of autonomy in international law, the reform of international organization and the international protection of human rights. The volumes of The Pail Monograph Series represent the longest, continuously-edited collection of international law monographs. |
