	The purpose of the Greater Cleveland Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. has always been to establish, maintain, and encourage high cultural, intellectual, and moral standards among its members; to engage in public service programs; and to promote and encourage achievement in education by granting scholarships and other assistance. Since the inception of the Greater Cleveland Alumnae Chapter in 1924 (originally as Omega Chapter), its members focus on scholarship, community service, and community awareness programs on a local and national level that are consistent with the Sorority's national perspectives.
