Description:	Boy Scout Troop 555 was first chartered in 1980. To date, 21 of our Scouts have achieved the rank of Eagle. Boy Scout Troop 555 is sponsored by the Penn Forest Township Volunteer Fire Co. #1. We meet weekly, Tuesday Nights, from 7 PM to 8:30 PM at the Penn Forest Township Volunteer Fire Co. #1 Fire Hall, located on Star Route 903, Jim Thorpe. Whenever possible, Troop 555 follows the Scouting tradition of having the older Scouts of the Troop educate the younger Scouts. This enables leadership skills of the older Scouts to flourish, and promotes a beneficial relationship amongst the entire Troop.
